Established in 1970 by Brahmavart Degree College education society under the guardianship of Shri Kailash Nath Shukla and later on the same is being shouldered by Shri Virendra Kumar Shukla, the present secretary of the college Managing committee.

Affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur.

The Institution has been accredited by NAAC in 2011 with CGPA 2.54 and awarded Grade B.
